Soi/ Soee (सोई)[1][2][3] gotra Jats live in in Rajasthan,Haryana and Punjab.
Origin
History
According to Tej Ram Sharma [4]Besides the Thakuras and Tokhis of the Punjab, there are caste-groups of Soi and Sikka, which are reminiscent of the Sakas.
Hukum Singh Panwar [5] considers Soi to be from the Sakas of Sogdiana.

History
Notable persons
- Subedar Gangaram Chaudhari (Soi) (b.14.8.1956-d.22.8.1994) was from village Dhandhaniya in Shergarh tahsil in Jodhpur district of Rajasthan. He was awarded Shaurya Chakra for his bravery in Somalia Mission. The Shaurya Chakra award was received by her widow wife Smt Gogi Devi from President of India on 26 January 1995.
