It is situated 16km away from sub-district headquarter Pandhurna. It is located 75 KM towards South from District head quarters Chhindwara. Borgaon Pin code is 480338 and postal head office is Teegaon. Borgaon is surrounded by Narkhed Tehsil towards South , Sausar Tehsil towards East , Warud Tehsil towards west , Multai Tehsil towards west. This Place is in the border of the Chhindwara District and Nagpur District. Nagpur District Narkhed is South towards this place . It is near to the Maharashtra State Border.[1]

Origin

Borgaon derives name from the marathi word 'BOR' (Hindi:Ber) due to its abundance in the area. which means the fruit which has it's special value and also one of the famous fruit among every Indian. It dates back around to 100-200 years when it was founded.
