I Debi Singh Tewatia, Ex-Chief Justice of Calcutta High Court, had the Honour of Perusing the book, "Jat-Iran &Indus Civilization" Authored by Mr.Krishan Chander Dahiyai, in which he has sought to substatiate his thesis that Jats were an ancient race predating the Vedic Period and being the ones who are to be credited of starting the farming culture of a settled community of a Matriarchal Society and of having Co mingled with Dravidian people who were basically traders, as another component of their society which even predated Harappans society and they finally became an important component of Indus Civilization and still maintaining till date the basic traits of their character.

Mr. Dahia has invested and expended tremendous intellectual energy in researching the vast Archaeological data involving extensive reading. Academically his book under review could have secured a Doctorate to him.

I recommend the reading of this book by all lovers of the Ancient History depicting to an extent the origin of Jat Race.

It is my joy and privilege to write a comment on the Book “Jat-Iran,Sumer & Indus Civilization” written by Respected Krishna Chander Dahiya, one of the best Scholars of the Jat community as a whole. His work is an attempt towards an eradication of ignorance of the present generation on the origin and historical development of the “Jat race”.

As a researcher of the socio-cultural aspects of the Jat community of the Jhajjar District I have approached many Jat families of the District to collect little valid information. But sadly they even do not know what is the origin and historical development of their chronological race. However, they are proud in their ethnicity and culture.

In fact the Book (Hindi edition) “Jat-Iran, Sumer & Indus Civilization”, written by Reverent Krishan Chander Sir is a boost to the whole Jat community in general and the Indian Jat community in particular. Anyone can have an easy glance at the origin, culture and related factors of the Jat community in its historical antecedents from his reputable Book. Indeed it is a unique work of Krishan Chander towards his community, particularly to the history of Indian heritage.

His writings in the above stated Book are not a mere tradition based on any antiquity; rather it is a historical fact which is attested by scientific, technical and even Biblical scholars of the ancient times. His research is 100 % true with the Biblical history and there is no doubt on it. In fact, he has more knowledge on the historical narrations of the Bible related to the origin and development of the present Christianity. I challenged a lot by reading his Book in the English edition and I have done my research on the title “Socio-cultural aspects of the Jat community” with a special reference to the Jhajjar District. However, the Jat families of this district have the same origin and development, what has been proved by Krihan Chander Dahiya through his Book.

The challenge has been taken by the author of this book is appreciable in a large extent of his efficiency to prove it with relevant terms and cultures of the different Gotras/clans of the Jat community. Hence, his work is a relevant treasure for the present generation who are in the graduate and post graduate academic level. I am sure that this Book will give an energetic challenge to the modern generation of the same community to learn the origin and development of their historically built rich culture, customs and practices.

Dr S.M. Yunus Jaffery of Delhi University is a Scholar of Persian language. He is D.Litt. from University of Tehran. He published an article in The Jats (Vol.I) (Their Role and Contribution to the Socio-Economic Life and Polity of North and North West India, Vol. I, 2004. Page 36-37, Ed. by Dr Vir Singh, Publisher - M/S Originals) under the title "The Jat in Shah Nama of Firdowsi" which is based on the Persian text of Shah Nama by Abdul Qasim bin Ishaq bin Sharaf Shah Firdowsi Tusi, published by Mohammad Ramazani, Mossisa-e-khavar, Tehran 1310 A.H./1931 AD. Dr S.M. Yunus Jaffery has given English Version as well as Persian versions in his article. Apart from this he he wrote many articles on culture of Iran published under the name 'armagave admi'. He has also edited books like 'sahabe tawarikhi', books on Samrat Shahjahan and Jahangir etc. He edited Jain Khan's book 'tarikhe babari'. This is the first serious attempt regarding the history of Jats. Earlier the clan had been associated with Rajputs but identification has not been defined of the word (Jat). The author has fully explained the etymology of the word, their original land, their migration around from place to place at the different intervals in the long span of history. The book is not limited and confined to Jats but also speaks about the culture, civilization of the region that are in surrounding land now ruled by Aryans. There is urgent need to revise the edition. The book deals along with history, anthropology and linguistic aspects also.

There are 2- dozens books on Jats, but your Book is Jewel in Crown of Jats. This book is most Authenticated, based on True and rare facts, not given earlier in any other Book. It is Masterpiece and will be used as Reference book in future.

I congratulate Author Sh. Krishan Dahiya, for conceptualising, planning and preparing this treasure of knowledge book. He has invested his valuable Time, Energy and money in preparing this Book, which will prove immensely useful to our future Generations.

The only shortcoming in this book was that its Title Cover Page was not Designed well, I suggest that in future Reprints/Editions, a better Title Cover may be prepared.

I could read your book partially due to my busy scheduled. I find this book with full of detailed information. Author have worked hard in gathering such a deep information regarding JAT history, origin and subsequent development with full of references which reflects the authenticity of the text. It covers interesting aspects of early development of civilization in middle Asia specially early JAT civilization which seems to be connected with contemporary civilizations and found to be as old as other civilizations. Interestingly, Dahiya jee covered excellent terminology used time to time and their developmental link to modern terminology. Indian history has been re-written by the ‘official Historians repeatedly. Pandit Jwahar Lal Nehru in his famous book, ‘Discovery of India’ had accepted the truth on the mode of writing of Indian history by the learned historians of the creamy-layer ruling class that the Aryans (the Brahmins) have not written history of the vanquished autochthons of the land. The nomadic Aryans, the Nordic-Brahmins though were savage, illiterate and without cultural heritage, after subjugating the peace-loving trading agriculturists of the land hijacked the native scripts, letters, literature and socio-religious cultural heritage. The opulent urban civilization of the country was brutally destroyed by the barbaric ‘first foreign intruders of India.’ The people of the land were condemned as worthless slaves or Sudras, Dasas and untouchables as the ‘two-footed animals’. Thus, Indian history whatever written in very modern period by the Indians remained the history of the victors being biased on the vanquished.

In the domain of distorted and got-up or staged history of India, written by tens of thousands of foreign colonial and their groomed Indian scholars with a view to perpetuate the colonial sovereignty and superiority, in a very recent past there emerged a school of writers among the natives of India. They have been so far a neglected lot forced outside the pale of higher education and exposed. The native intellectuals have started writing the history of Indian society, culture, polity and religion; history of their ethnicity and root-language and highly developed literature along with the pan-Indian character of civilization. They have pushed their pens very dispassionately to tell the glorious tales of the people of the vast land. They are very sincere and exceedingly truthful in their target. They are courageously fearless no doubt.

Sri Krishan Chander Dahiya is one of these serious authors of new school of scientific history of India. His non-conventional mode of writing and presenting history with evidences from very obscure and remote references though sometimes difficult to understand but is necessary to maintain distinction from the conventional approach of distorted and story-telling history or mythology. It is beyond doubt that the Jat/Juts, Ahirs, Yadavas as well as the Santhals, Kols in Eastern India are the descends of the great race of the Assura people. The fact is to be recorded in various Indian languages in a dispassionate manner with sufficient evidences of various kinds (archaeology, numismatic, documental, anthropological, linguistic, epigraphic, cultural, religious-traits etc) available abundantly all over the country. Sri Dahia deserves all congratulations for his tireless quest for truth.

पुस्तक ज्यादा कीमत व अंग्रेजी में होने के बावजूद मात्र तीन महीने में बिक गयी. मैं जाटों में बिलकुल अनजाना नाम था. इसके बावजूद प्रोफ़ेसर, इंजीनियर रिटायर्ड प्रिंसिपल, रिटायर्ड जज और जाट अफसरों ने इसे लिया और मुझे राय दी कि यह किताब हिंदी में आनी चाहिय. अब यह किताब ज्यादा प्रमाणों के साथ हिंदी में आ रही है ताकि आम जाट अपने बारे में जाने व अपनी राजनीतिक-आर्थिक जंग की सफलता के लिए एक नई प्रेरणा प्राप्त करें.

चौधरी चरणसिंह संसद का सामना भी नहीं कर सके जबकि वे किसानों और पिछड़ों को जोड़ने वाले थे. चौधरी देवी लाल को आसानी से पी.एम. की कुर्सी से डिप्टी पी.एम. बना दिया. इसके पीछे एक सामाजिक सच्चाई है. यह क्यों हुआ ? इस क्यों ने मुझे किताब लिखने को मजबूर किया. सर छोटू राम का सूत्र था - हिन्दू, सिख, मूला जाट का मूल एक है. मैनें इतिहास में इसी मूल की तलास की है. यही नहीं बल्कि जाट समूह ही कई अन्य जातियों का आधार है.

मैं इस बात से परेशान था कि जब राजस्थानी जाट ने आरक्षण का आन्दोलन चलाया तो टी.वी. डिबेटों में बगैर प्रमाण जाने व बगैर हूणों की कल्चर जाने जाट को हूण - शक कहा गया. इस तरह उसके इतिहास को पूरी तरह ख़त्म करने की कोशिश हुई.कुछ अपने को पढ़कर ब्राह्मण कहने वाले जाट ने अप्रमाणिक-अवैज्ञानिक इतिहास जैसा लिखकर जाट को साका तक सीमित कर दिया. जाट का वैज्ञानिक इतिहास न होने से इन्हें चोर भी कहा गया. गलत व अप्रमाणिक लिखने से अच्छा होता है न लिखना.

मुझे भाषाई निरन्तरता ने भी प्रेरित किया कि मैं यह किताब लिखूं ताकि अपनी नई पीढ़ी को बताऊँ की हम लफ्फाड़ों, घुमक्कड़ों...आदिवासियों की औलाद नहीं हैं. बल्कि हम वे हैं जिन्होंने भारत-पाक-ईरान को घर बनाने की टेक्नीक, खेती की टेक्नीक, सिंचाई प्रणाली, घरेलू पशुपालन, रोटी, चूल्हा व तवे की टेक्नोलोजी देकर मानवता की सेवा की है. हम तलवार बाज नहीं बल्कि सृजनात्मक कौम हैं. हम संसार की पहली तीन-चार कौम में से एक हैं जिन्होंने पूर्वी ईरान में खेती की शुरुआत करके इस क्षेत्र के मानव की भूख की समस्या हल करने की शुरुआत की. हम आज भी भारत-पाक का खाद्य पूल भरते हैं. मेरे हिन्दू-सिख-मूला जाट बेटे व बेटियां इस किताब को पढ़कर नए जोश के साथ शिक्षा-खेती -खेल में झंडे गाड़ेंगे. जाट राजनीतिज्ञ एक नए आयाम को आधार देंगे. मेरी किताब की असली कीमत यही होगी. हिंदी की पुस्तक "प्राचीन भारत का जाट की देन" में नए अध्याय जोड़े गए हैं. बुल्ले शाह शहनशाहों व जागीरदारों का भाट नहीं था बल्कि वह एक कवि था ...आम समाज में गाता था:

बुल्ला बात अनोखी एहा, नच्चण लग्गी तो घूँघट केहा,

तूसी परदा अखिंया दा लाहो, तूसी रल मिल नाम ध्याओ

ये इस पंजाब के गीत हैं जहाँ फारसी आ गयी थी. परन्तु समाज पर इसका असर नहीं था. समाज में जाट बोली कि निरन्तरता थी. लहजे का अंतर दूरी के कारण है. बुल्ले शाह के गीतों में 95 प्रतिशत जाटकी बोली है. सुलतान बाहू निर्गुण परमात्मा की बात कर रहा है. यही सूफीवाद, सिखवाद, उदासीवाद, नाथवाद का मूल है. यही हिन्दू जाट में है. बुल्ले व सुलतान बाहू मुग़ल काल के हैं परन्तु यही सोच 2500 ई.पू. के ईरान में थी जब इसका नाम हाल्ली-माटी था. "ऐलामी निर्गुण उपासक थे" (ईरानी सभ्यता व संस्कृति की झलक , अनुवादक: चंद्रशेखर, प्रकाशक: ईरान कल्चर हाऊस दिल्ली). सिंध में आठवीं शदी में अरब आ गए थे परन्तु वहां का प्रसिद्द कवि हैं शाह लतीफ़. लतीफ़ के गीतों को सारे सिंध के अमीर-गरीब, हाली-पाली, औरत-मर्द गाते हैं. स्पष्ट है-सिन्धु सभ्यता की भाषाई निरन्तरता जारी है. और ये जाट बोली है.

ये गीत ससी पन्नू से है. लतीफ़ की किताब का नाम है "रिसालो". सारे रिसालो में 90 % जाट बोली है. 12 वीं शादी का बाबा फरीद 100 % जाट बोली का इस्तेमाल कर रहा है.:-

साहे लिखे चलनी जिन्दु कु समझाए

जिन्दू बहुही मरणु वू ले जासी परणाये

(ले. बाबा फरीद, जस्बिन्द्र कौर, वाणी प्रकाशन दिल्ली) साहे = शादी की तारीख , बहूही = बहू , परनाये = शादी करना बाबा फरीद की सारी वाणी जाटकी बोली में है. जो जाट बोली की हड़प्पा, प्रोटो-हड़प्पा , बिलोचिस्तानी साईटों से जोड़ती है. क्योंकि मैंने अर्कियोलोजिकल लिंग्विस्टिक प्रमाण दिया है कि इस बोली का 21 % सुमेर सभ्यता में था. जो हड़प्पा काल से 800 -900 साल प्राचीन थी.

मैं अपनी पुस्तक 'Jat Iran Sumer and Indus Civilization' पर कमेन्ट देने वालों को सर झुका कर सलाम करता हूँ. मुझे आशा है कि लोग मेरी पुस्तक "प्राचीनतम भारत को जाटों जी देन" ऐसे ही हाथो-हाथ लेंगे.

एक प्रसिद्द कहावत है कि 'जहाँ चाह वहां राह'. आदरणीय श्री कृष्ण चन्द्र दहिया, जो पेसे से अध्यापक हैं,कि आकांक्षा थी कि वे वैज्ञानिक ढंग से महान जाट प्रजाति के इतिहास पर शोध कार्य करें. अत: वह तन,मन व लगन से उसके प्राचीन इतिहास के अध्ययन में जुट गए. और अनेकानेक साक्षियां तलास कर डाली जिनके आधार पर इस अमूल्य रचना का सृजन कर समाज के सम्मुख प्रस्तुत कर दी.

अब तक विद्वानों के समक्ष यह बहस का विषय रहा है कि महान जाट प्रजाति की उत्पत्ति आर्य थी या अनार्य. मगर यह भारी ख़ुशी की बात है कि विद्वान बन्धु दहिया साहब ने सशक्त प्रमाणों के आधार पर इस रचना में प्रमाणित कर दिया है कि उनकी उत्पत्ति अनार्य थी. उनकी उत्पत्ति पश्चिम एशिया में गुटियां लोगों में से हुई. वे मूल रूप में कृषक व पशुपालक थे. मैं उनके इस सफल प्रयास के लिए बधाई प्रेषित करता हूँ. आशा है यह प्रयास इस समाज के लिए एक प्रेरणा का श्रोत बन कर सम्मुख आयेगा और पाठकों में इसकी भारी प्रशंसा होगी.

आजतक जितनी भी जाट इतिहास से सम्बंधित पुस्तकें मेरे पढ़ने में आईं उनमे जो मुझे आभाव देखने को मिलता था वो ये कि अधिकतर पुस्तकें कही सुनी बातों पर आधारित थी लेकिन आप का ये प्रयास पूर्णतया तथ्यों पर आधारित है । यह जाट जाति, जो आज विभिन्न धर्मो (हिंदू, मुस्लिम, सिख, ईसाई ) व पंथो में विश्वास रखती है, को अपनी मूल जाति से सम्बन्धित होने के कारण हमें अपने खून के रिश्तों को पहचान कर अधिक भाई-चारा बनाने के प्रयासों में जल्दी ही सफलता मिलेगी व दुनिया भर के जाट भाई विभिन्न धर्मो व प्रान्तों को मानने वाले देश की सीमाओं से बाहर आकर आपसी भाईचारा बढ़ाएंगे इस प्रयास को स्वर्गीय दीनबंधू सर छोटूराम द्वारा ये कह कर किया गया था कि धर्म हमारी आस्था व जीवन को जीने के मार्ग दर्शक का काम करता है लेकिन खून का रिश्ता इतना गाढ़ा होता है जो हमें किसी भी परिस्थतियो में एक दूसरे से अलग नहीं होने देगा ।

पुस्तक में जाट कौम की उत्पत्ति पर बहुत ही प्रभावशाली तरीके से व्याख्यान किया है. दर असल भूतकाल के इतिहासकारों द्वारा जाट कौम के विरुद्ध बहुत ज्यादती की है. यह पुस्तक लिखने के लिए लेखक का नाम इतिहासकारों की श्रेणी में अतिविशिष्टता से लिया जायेगा. पुस्तक में बहुत ही सरल तरीके से जाट कौम द्वारा कृषि में उपयोग होने वाले औजार, हरयाणवी भाषा की दूसरे देशों की भाषा से समानता बहुत उचित तरीके से की है. दूसरे देशों के भाषाओं का व्याख्यान तथा उनके परिणामों का प्रभावशाली तरीके से विश्लेषण किया गया है. लेखक इस कार्य में में लगाई गयी मेहनत और लग्न के लिए बधाई के पात्र हैं. यह पुस्तक जाट कौम के लिए एक महान उपलब्धि है. जाट कौम ने बहुत बहादुरी के काम किये हैं तथा देश के लिए बहुत बलिदान दिए हैं. मगर इतिहासकारों ने हमेशा कौम के साथ अन्याय किया. सर्व हुड्डा खाप लेखक की लम्बी उम्र की कामना करता है ताकि वे लम्बे समय तक कौम के उत्थान का कार्य कर सकें.

मनुष्य की यह स्वाभाविक प्रवृति होती है कि वह अपने मूल के सम्बन्ध में जाने कि वह कौन है और कहाँ से आया है. श्री कृष्ण चन्द्र दहिया ने इस पुस्तक में इस आधारभूत जिज्ञासा का उत्तर अनेकों खोजों के माध्यम से दिया है. विश्व की पौराणिक सभ्यताओं में ईरान, सुमेर और सिन्धु की सभ्यतायें प्रमुख हैं. इन सभ्यताओं से जाटों का सम्बन्ध प्रमाणिक रूप से सिद्ध करने में कृष्ण चंदर दहिया अपनी पुस्तक जाट-ईरान, सुमेर और सिन्धु सभ्यता में सफल रहे हैं. सिन्धु, सुमेर व ईरान (हाली-भाटी/इस्लाम) के जाट कृषकों पर यह पहली पुस्तक है. सुमेरी अभिलेखों में दर्ज भाषा में 21 प्रतिशत शब्द जाट भाषाओँ के हैं. भाषा शास्त्र, बोलीविज्ञान और पुरातत्वीय अभिलेख आदि के आधार पर लेखक ने जाट का अस्तित्व सिन्धुघाटी सभ्यता से पहले होना के प्रमाणित किया है.

जाट जाति का देशांतरण वर्तमान में विवादित है. अनुसंधानकर्ता अभीतक सही-सही निष्कर्ष पर नहीं पहुंच पाए हैं कि ये लोग किस समय पर कहाँ से आव्रजन कर भारत में आये अथवा भारत से बाहर गए. लेखक ने जाट जाति में जन्म से मृत्यु तक पाए जाने वाले संस्कारों, खेती-किसानी में प्रयुक्त शब्दों, जाटों की परम्पराओं, जाट गोत्रों और गाँवों के नामों आदि के आधार पर विश्लेषण कर निष्कर्ष निकाले हैं.

यह पुस्तक बताती है कि जर्ट/जुट/ जर्त/जाट वह समुदाय है जिसने ईरान व भारत को अन्न उत्पादन का हल दिया और मानव के भूख की समस्या हल की. जाट ने ईरान व भारत में हल के अविष्कार और सिंचाई सुविधाओं की खोज कर खेती का विकास किया, स्थाई परिवार बनाकर बसना और पशुपालन का तरीका सिखाया.

'जर्त' जो प्राकृत में जाट पंजाबी (भारत और पाकिस्तान) में 'जट्ट', पाली व फारसी में जाट बोला जाता है. जाट की उत्पत्ति , अवधि (6000 -4500 ई. पूर्व) की खोज एवं गणना परसियन, भारतीय और रूसी पुरातत्व के आधार पर की गयी है. इसमें पॉटरी, घरों के डिजाइन, भोजन, गाँव की संरचना की तुलना पेशावर व कैम्ब्रिज विश्वविद्यालय के अध्ययन (शोध) बन्नू कोहट, आदि हड़प्पा , कोट दिज्जी, बानावाली, मिथायल व क्वेटा से समुद्री किनारे तक के स्थानों से की गयी है. जाट बोली-भाषा का मिलान पूर्व सभ्यताओं से किया गया है. जाटों में 80 प्रतिशत तूरानी (पूर्वी ईरान) और 20 प्रतिशत द्रविड़ों का रक्त मिश्रण की प्रमाणिक जानकारियाँ लेखक ने वैज्ञानिक आधार पर संकलित की हैं. जाटों द्वारा बोली जाने वाली बोलियों यथा जटकी, लोर, लहंदा, सिंधो आदि में सुमेरियन (3300-2800 ई.पू.) भाषा से 21 प्रतशत शब्द मिलते हैं.

'जाट-ईरान, सुमेर और सिन्धु सभ्यता' पुस्तक में बताया गया है की ऋग्वेद 1300 -1000 ई. पूर्व गाय व घोड़ों पर जोर देता है, जो हड़प्पा सभ्यता में 2400 ई. पूर्व में थे ही नहीं, ना उनकी कोई शील मिली है. यौद्धे दर असल आजुध्या का अपभ्रंश रूप है. जिसका मतलब है - नाग व सांडों का देश. इन दोनों के चित्र सिन्धु सभ्यता की शीलों पर हैं. हमारा शिव से कोई ताल्लुक नहीं है. ये शब्द ऋग्वेद में ही नहीं हैं. दर असल ये शंभू का दूसरा नाम है. और शंभू खुद जैन प्रथम तीर्थंकर का बिगड़ा रूप है. यानी सिन्धु सभ्यता में धर्म वैदिक नहीं, बल्कि जैन था. मौजूदा जैन धर्म महावीर की देन है, परन्तु पुराना ऋषभ नाथ का था और उसका नाम ज्जाम था, जिसे पाली में यम कहा जाता था और पारसी में भी. इसके लिखित दस्तावेजी प्रमाण सुमेर सभ्यता में मिलते हैं मौजूदा पूर्वी ईरान व ऐलयाट व सार्ट (पुरानों के सुयाति) की सांस्कृतिक सक्रियता की तुलना जाट से की गयी है. लेखक ने जाटों के बौध धर्म और जैन धर्म में होने के ठोस प्रमाण दिए हैं.

श्री कृष्ण चन्द्र दहिया ने प्रमाणित किया है कि जाट जाति पूर्वी ईरान से हड़प्पा और सुमेर की और अन्न उत्पादन हेतु उपयुक्त दोमट मिटटी और पानी की तलास में गयी. जाट सुमेर से मकरान की तरफ बढे. जाट का सुमेर से बहरीन व यमन को विस्थापन और सिन्धु से अलीगढ - आगरा - मेरठ दिशाओं में विस्थापन - आर्थिक व राजनैतिक कारणों से हुआ.जनसँख्या बढ़ने और हल की खोज के बाद अन्न उत्पादन हेतु अधिक उपजाऊ जमीन और पानी की आवश्यकता महसूस हुई. लेखक ने दहिया लोगों के अभिगमन के बारे में प्रमाणित किया है कि वे दक्षिण मध्य एशिया के फरगना घाटी से 3300-3500 ई.पू. ईरान के सुस नामक स्थान पर आये. वहां से हड़प्पा के पास मुल्तान और सियालकोट के बीच स्थित दहिया-बड नामक स्थान पर लम्बे समय तक रहे तत्पश्चात राजस्थान के जांगल प्रदेश से होते हुए चौथी शताब्दी ई. के आस-पास हरयाणा आये हैं.

जहाँ भी सिन्धु सभ्यता की खुदाई हुई, वहां जाट की कृषक रूप में निरंतरता, ऋग्वेद, पाणिनि, यूनानी लेखक, कौटिल्य (सीधा जाट शब्द इस्तेमाल करता है) , चच, अबुल फजल के सरकारी रिकार्ड (आईने अकबरी), और 1881 -91 , 1901 से 1931 तक के जनगणना रिकोर्ड से मिलती है.

पुस्तक अंग्रेजी भाषा में है , जोकि विश्व जाट समुदाय को ध्यान में रखकर लिखी गयी है. यह जाटों के सामाजिक, आर्थिक एवं राजनातिक आंदोलनों को व्यापक आधार प्रदान करती है. पुस्तक में कुल 394 पृष्ठ हैं. पुस्तक का मूल्य 895 रूपये है. सामग्री एवं मुद्रण की दृष्टि से पुस्तक उत्कृष्ट होते हुए भी संपादन की कुछ कमजोरियां लिए हुए है. पुस्तक में स्थानीय भाषा के शब्दों को अंग्रेजी भाषा में लिखते समय मानक देवनागरी प्रणाली का प्रयोग करते और उनकी पृष्ठवार सूचि पुस्तक के अंत में दी जाती तो पाठकों और अनुसंधान कर्ताओं के लिए सुविधाजनक होती और पुस्तक की उपयोगिता बढ़ जाती. आगामी संस्करण में इन कमियों को सुधारने की आवश्यकता है. जाट इतिहास की इस महत्वपूर्ण पुस्तक को हर पढ़े-लिखे परिवार में होना चाहिए.

डॉ.धर्मचन्द्र विद्यालंकार ने 'Jat Iran Sumer and Indus Civilization' पुस्तक की अत्यंद सुन्दर समीक्षा लिखी है. डॉ.धर्मचन्द्र विद्यालंकार लिखते हैं कि अभी-अभी हमने एक बहुत ही महत्वपूर्ण इतिहास ग्रन्थ का परायण किया है. जिसका नाम है अंग्रेजी भाषा में - 'Jat Iran Sumer and Indus Civilization' अर्थात जाटों का ईरान ईराक और सिन्धु सभ्यता से सम्बन्ध. इस पुस्तक में सर्वप्रथम इसके लेखक श्री कृष्ण चंद्र दहिया ने वैदिक साहित्य में जरित और जरत से से बिगड़ कर बने जर्त जैसे शब्दों का संधान किया है. क्योंकि जाट शब्द का विकास मूलत: इन्हीं उपर्युक्त संस्कृत शब्दों से हुआ है. .... श्री कृष्ण चंद्र दहिया ने प्रस्तुत पुस्तक में जाटों का निकास जर्तों अथवा गर्तों से ईशा पूर्व छ: हजार से लेकर ईशा पूर्व चार हजार वर्ष तक सीर दरिया (पौराणिक क्षीर सागर) अथवा तारिम नदी-घाटी में दिखाया है जो कि वर्तमान के चीनी तुर्किस्तान अथवा सिक्यांग प्रान्त में अवस्थित है. वहीँ पर जाटों ने अपनी ग्रामीण सभ्यता का विकास कर तूरानी अथवा जाटकी भाषा विकसित की. जिससे आगे चलकर ईरानी (एलमी) सुमेरी (ईराकी) और सिस्तानी, सिन्धी, लहंदा और पंजाबी, सरायकी एवं सूरसैनी (ब्रज) हिंदी आदि का विकास हुआ है............
