History
Scattered Dadri villages in British territory surrendered - Lepel H. Griffin writes:[2] There were 14 villages, Chang, Mithathal; Bamla, Naorangabad, Bhund, Rankouli, Aon, Bas, Ranela, Saifal, Khairari, Jawa, Bijna, and Changrour, belonging to the Dadri territory but scattered in the Rohtak and Jhajjar districts. The first nine of these had been administered by the District Officer of Rohtak, both as regarded the collection of revenue and criminal jurisdiction, for varying periods, one village having been so administered since 1858, and three since 1853. The criminal jurisdiction of the ninth village, Saifal, had, since 1845, been vested in the Deputy Commissioner of Rohtak, though the Nawab of Dadri had collected
[Page-396]: the revenue, and the four last villages, both in fiscal and criminal administration, had been subordinate to the Nawab.
For the convenience of both States, and to preserve a satisfactory boundary, a transfer was proposed of these villages to the British Government, in exchange for others of equal value in the Budhwara and Kanoudh Pargannas of the Jhajjar district. The revenue of the Dadri villages, amounted to Rs. 10,641, and the transferred villages made over to the Raja, viz.: Churkli, Nanda, Tiwali, Siswala, Pachobah Kalan, Pachobah Khurd, and Todhi, were worth Rs. 10,850 a year. The Raja was perfectly satisfied with the transfer, which was approved by the Government of India and carried into effect.
इतिहास
पंडित अमीचन्द्र शर्मा[3] ने लिखा है - गुराइण गोत्र : जिला हिसार (अब भिवानी) में बामला गुराइण गोत्री जाटों का एक गाँव है। यहाँ तूर वंश में एक अति विख्यात जाटू नाम का राजा था। जाटू राजा के बड़े पुत्र का नाम पाड़ था। उसका पुत्र गोरा प्रसिद्ध हुआ। गोरा का पुत्र कालू, कालू का पूत्र सधीव, सधीव का पुत्र धेरपाल हुआ। बामला के गोरा की संतान गुराइण गोत्री जाट हैं। गुराइन गोत्री जाटों के ओर भी कई ग्राम हैं। गोरा की संतान में से कोई राजली ग्राम से चलकर बौन्द ग्राम में आ गया। बौन्द रियासत जींद में है। बौन्द में ठीक नहीं जमा तो वह कलिंगा ग्राम जिला रोहतक आ गया। यहाँ के ठाकुर ने उसको बसने के लिए थोड़ी जमीन दे दी। ठाकुर का पुत्र भी उसके पास ही रहने लगा। उस महाशय के दो पुत्र हुये। 1 बीधू, 2 भाकू ...उस महाशय ने ठाकुर से बहुत सारी जमीन लेली और उसमे बामला गाँव बसाया। इस गाँव मे 3 पान्ने हैं। जाट पुत्रों के नाम पर क्रमश: बीधू का बीधवान और भाकू का भाकल। ठाकुर के बेटे का नौरंगाबाद पानना है।
बामला के जाटों का निकास राजली ग्राम है। बामला के गुराइण गोत्र के जाटों की वंशावली निम्नानुसार है:
1. राजा जाटू, 2. पाड़, 3. गोरा, 4. कालूसिंह, 5. सधीन, 6. धरेपाल, 7. धांधू, 8. मुलकशृंगार, 9. लाखू, 10. छज्जू, 11. बीधू, भाखू, 12. बुकण, 13. आसिल, 14. बड़सी, 15. लाहड़, 16. भागन, 17. केशो, 18. कुशला, 19. रतिया, 20. जाहरिया, 21. जोदधा, 22. हंसराम, 23. परशराम
गोरा की संतान में छ्ज्जू सिंह तूर संघ से जाट संघ में मिला। तूर संघ मुख्यतया जाट गोत्रों से ही बना था। धरेपाल के भतीजे की संतान अब तक भी जताई ग्राम जिला हिसार (वर्तमान जिला भिवानी) में हैं, वे राजपूत हैं। जताई के राजपूत और बामला के जाट परस्पर भाई हैं।
Population
The Bamla village has a population of 10859 of which 5943 are males while 4916 are females (as per Population Census 2011).[4]

- Shishpal Singh Grewal (Naik) (26.6.1920-10.4.1948) was from village Bamla in Bhiwani district of Haryana. He became martyr on 10.4.1948 during Indo-Pak War 1947-48. He was awarded Maha Vir Chakra for his bravery.
