Origin
They have originated from Dasharna (दशार्ण) people of Mahabharata.
History
Dashpur was the capital of Dasharn people, so they were known as Daspuriya (दशपुरिया). Daspur at present is called Mandsaur in Madhya Pradesh. [3]
