Kaloo (कालू) or Kalu is a village in Lunkaransar tehsil of Bikaner district in Rajasthan, India.
Location
It is situated on the north-east border of the district adjoining Churu district boundaries. It is 19 km south-west of Lunkaransar by the side of road connecting Lunkaransar with Bikaner-Ratangarh.
Population
As per Census of 2001 its population was 8927 out of them 1171 were SC and 11 were ST.
Jat Gotras
History
It was one of the districts in the republic of Godara Jats in Jangladesh, whose chief was Pandu having 700 villages in his state with capital at Shekhsar. The districts included in his state were Shekhsar, Pundrasar, Gusainsar Bada, Gharsisar, Garibdesar, Rungaysar, Kalu. [1]
