Origin

is gotra of Jats originated from Duhshala (दुःशला). [1] Duhshala was the fifth son of Dhritarashtra's sons, eldest being Duryodhana. [2]Dusad gotra Jats are found in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Madhya Pradesh.

History

Bhim Singh Dahiya writes about Dosandh/Dosanjh: Coins of this clan have also been found with the legend Dosadasa or Dosanasa, meaning "of Dosada or Dosana clan". [3][4]

Dusad gotra of Jats are found in Khojiya, Sarua (सरुआ), Jangli (जंगली), Bhudri (भूड़री), Sumera (सुमेरा) and Prema Ka Nagla villages in Mathura district.[5]

Dusad Jats also founded villages situated on Raya-Baldev road namely, Ratauli (रटौली), Dhehragarhi (ढेहरा गढ़ी), and Achhnera (अछनेरा)(Agra). [6]
