Bhagaur(भगौर)[1][2] Bhagod (भगोड)[3] Bhagor (भगोड),Bhagor (भगोर) Bhagauriya (भगोरिया) Bhagorcha (भगोरचा) Bagod (बगोड़) Bagor (बागोड़)/(बगोड़)[4] [5][6] is Gotra of Jats found in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.
Origin
One ruler named Bhage (भागे) was born in the eleventh generation of Kalihana (कलिहान), who is believed to give the name Bhagor to this clan. As per Bard of Karauli state the people of Vagarain (वागरैन) were known as Bhagor.[7]
Mention by Panini
Bhaguri (भागुरि), an exponent of Lokayata school, is mentioned by Panini in Ashtadhyayi. [8]
Bhagaur Khap

55. भगौर - यह 15 गांव की जो आगरा जिले में पड़ती है. इसके कटरा, मलपुरा, रिठौरा, सामरा प्रमुख गांव हैं. इस खाप की चौधराहट गांव इटौरा में है.[10]
भगोड ,बगोड़ और भगोर एक ही गोत्र है अलवर भगोर गोत्र की उत्पति का जिला है अलवर में इसको भगोड बोलते है भरतपुर और आगरा में बृज भाषा के प्रभाव के कारन ड को र बोलने से यह भगोर हो जाता है औरगज़ेब के समय अलवर के कुछ भागोर परिवर के आगरा और भरतपुर जिले से जाकर बसे है
फौजदार उपाधि
फौजदार - यह उपाधि मुगल शासनकाल में उन शाही उच्च अधिकारियों को दी जाती थी जो कई परगनों या प्रान्त की शासन व्यवस्था करते थे। जाटों में उपाधि प्राचीन राजवंशज जाट जो सेना (फौज) में रखते थे उनके द्वारा काम मे ली जाती थी। ब्रज क्षेत्र के जाट फौजदार और ठाकुर उपाधि का उपयोग करते आ रहे हैं । पांडव गाथा के अनुसार ब्रज क्षेत्र में 4 गोत्रों(सिनसिनवार, कुन्तल(तोमर),सोगरवार(सोघरिया),चाहर(चहल) को डुंग यानी बड़ा भाई बोला जाता है इनकी गोत्रों द्वारा समय समय पर अपने राज्य कायम किये फौज रखने के कारण ही यह फौजदार कहलाए जाते हैं। भरतपुर के सभी सिनसिनवार गोत्र के जाट, अलीगढ, मथुरा के खूंटेल (कुन्तल), डागुर, चाहर, गंड और भगौर गोत्रों के जाट फौजदार कहलाते हैं।[11]
