History

There is an ancient mound located in this village. Excavations by Prof. Suraj Bhan, Professor and Chairman of Kurukshetra University brought out the village as an important site belonging to Yaudheyas. Here the coins and other antiquity found has established that it was a very important administrative headquarters of the Yaudheyagana during those days with flourishing commercial activities.
