Tittiri
Tittiri (तित्तिरि) was a Nagavanshi King mentioned in Mahabharata. Also mentioned by Panini in Ashtadhyayi. They fought Mahabharata War in Pandava's side

Jat Gotras
Jat Gotras originated from Tittiri are:
- Tutia (तूतिया) Tutiya (तूतिया) Tootiya (तूतिया) gotra of Jats are descendants of Nagavanshi mahapurusha Tittara (तित्तर)/Tittira (तित्तिर). [3]
- Tatran (तातरान) Tataran (तातरान) Tatrana (तातराणा) is a gotra of Jats. This gotra originated from mahapurusha named the Tittira of Mahabharata who were fighting of the side of Pandavas. [4] [5] Dilip Singh Ahlawat has mention it as one of the ruling Jat clans in Central Asia. [6]
- Tetarwal (तेतरवाल) Titarwal (तीतरवाल) Tatur (तातुर) gotra Jats are found in Sikar, Jhunjhunu, Barmer, Tonk, Jaipur districts of Rajasthan. They are descendants of Nagavanshi mahapurusha Titara/Tittar (तितर). [7]
In Mahabharata
Mahabharata mentions Tittiri (तित्तिरि) (I.31.15), (II.25.6), (II.47.4), (V.101.13), (VI.46.50), (IX.44.81),
Adi Parva, Mahabharata/Book I Chapter 31 mentions the Names of Chief Nagas. Tittiri (तित्तिरि) is mentioned in verse (I.31.15) [8]
Sabha Parva, Mahabharata/Book II Chapter 25 mentions that Arjuna arrives to conquer Harivarsha. Tittiri (तित्तिरि) is mentioned in verse (II.25.6) [9]....And the exalted prince having arrived at the lake Manasa conquered the regions ruled by the Gandharvas that lay around the Hataka territories.....Here the conqueror took, as tribute from the country, numerous excellent horses called Tittiri, Kalmasha, Manduka.
Sabha Parva, Mahabharata/Book II Chapter 47 mentions the Kings who brought tributes to Yudhishthira: Tittiri (तित्तिरि) is mentioned in verse (II.47.4) [10]
Udyoga Parva/Mahabharata Book V Chapter 101 describes Bhogavati city and innumerable Nagas dwelling there. Tittiri (तित्तिरि) is mentioned in verse (V.101.13)[11]
Bhisma Parva, Mahabharata/Book VI Chapter 46 Pandavas look the war arrangement (of Arjuna) and wait for battle....Tittira (तित्तिर) is mentioned in verse (VI.46.50) [12]....And Yudhishthira, O king, with the Patachcharas, the Hunas, the Pauravakas and the Nishadas, became its two wings, so also the Pisachas, with the Kundavishas, and the Mandakas, Madaka, Kadaka and Tanganas other Tanganas, Balhikas, Tittiras, and Cholas Pandya.
Shalya Parva, Mahabharata/Book IX Chapter 44 gives the list of combatants who came to the ceremony for investing Kartikeya with the status of generalissimo. Tittiri (तित्तिरि) is mentioned in verse (IX.44.81). [13]
