Indolia

Indolia (इन्दोलिया) Indoliya (इन्दोलिया) Indauliya (इन्दौलिया) Indauriya (इन्दौरिया) Innaulia (इन्नौलिया)^[1] Indoliye (इन्दोलिए)/Indoria (इन्दोरिया)^[2] is gotra of Jats. This gotra Jats are found in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. Hindane is its name in Maharashtra. There is a village Indoli in Tonk district in Rajasthan.

Origin

Initially they were inhabitants of areas around Indore hence known by this gotra. ^[3]

Gazipur - village in Wair tehsil of Bharatpur district in Rajasthan was founded by Gaj Singh Indolia.

Indolia khap has 12 villages in Uttar Pradesh in Agra district and 10 villages in Bharatpur district in Rajasthan. Jat gotra is Indolia. Kirawali is head village. ^[4]

Rao Uday Pratap Singh (Indolia) - M P from Lok Sabha seat Hoshangabad. Rao Uday Prartap Singh had won the Assembly seat for the first time in December 2008. He had won the Lok Sabha seat also for the first time from Hoshangabad in 15th Loksabha seat as Congress candidate but won 16th Loksabha seat as BJP candidate. He is from village Lolaria (लोलरिया) in Tendukheda tahsil in Narsinghpur district in Madhya Pradesh.
