Visati
Visati (विसाती)[1] [2] Visaite (विसैते)[3][4] Bisati (बिसाती) Bisayti (बिसायती) Bisayati (बिसायती) Visayati (विसायती) Vishayati (विशायती) is an ancient gotra of Jats[5] Bisatia/Bisatiya (बिसातिया) Bisantiya (बिसांतिया) found in Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.
Origin
- Vasati (वसाति) was an ancient republic tribe known to Panini and mentioned in Mahabharata. They were probably the ancestors of Visati clan.
- Visati, Visatai have originated from Rigvedic tribe of Visanins/Vishanins (विषाणिन). [6] [7]
- They were known by this gotra as they were doing the trading work. [8]

Hukum Singh Panwar[9] mentions that Jat tribes Visati, Visatai resemble wit the Rigvedic tribes of Visanins.
