Pahor
Pahor (पहोर) Pahore (पहोरे) Pahur (पहर) Pohal (पोहल)[1]/Pohar (पोहर)[2] [3]is a Muslim Jat clan found in Sindh province of Pakistan. Pohad (पोहड़)[4] clan is found in Punjab. Pohal are in in Uttar Pradesh. [5] Pahod (पहोड़) [6] Jat clan is found in Haryana. They are Chandravanshi Kshatriyas. They were supporters of Bhati Confederacy.
Origin
- Pohal (पोहल) Pohar (पोहर) gotra is said to be originated from Raja Poru (पोरू) of Kekaya (केकय) Kingdom. [7]
- Pahod (पहोड़) Gotra originated from ancestor Bharan Singh.[8]
History
पहोड़ गोत्र का इतिहास
पंडित अमीचन्द्र शर्मा[9]ने लिखा है - जिला हिसार तहसील सिरसा में एक गाँव है शेरगढ़ जहां पहोड़ भाटी के कई घर हैं। ये भाटी संघ से अलग होकर जाट संघ में मिले हैं। भाटी संघ में अधिकांस जाट गोत्र ही थे। इस गोत्र के जाटों का बड़ा भरानसिंह था। वह जैसलमर में रहा करता था। वह किसी कारण से पंजाब में आ गया। उसने झोरड़ जाट गोत्र की स्त्री से शादी की। भरानसिंह की वंशावली निम्नानुसार है:
1. भरानसिंह, 2. सालम सिंह, 3. त्रिलोक सिंह, 4. वजीर सिंह, कहर सिंह, उद्योगपाल सिंह, भूदेवपाल, टेक सिंह,

Pahore clan is found in northern districts of Sindh . They are found in Karachi, Hyderabad, Nawabshah, Dadu, Khairpur Sindh, Larkana, Jowngal, Sukkur and Shikarpur, Chachran, Mauza Pahoran, Hasanabad, Zahir Pir, Khan Pur, Rahim Yar Khan, Bhawalpur, Melsi and Rajanpur, Bolan, Bhag Nari, Makhdoom Pur Pahoran, Membai.
They use Khan or Jam or Malik as titles.
Distribution in India
They are found in Jalgaon District, Pahur village, Rajastan, Kanpur, Jaisalmer, Bikaner, and Maharashtra Districts.
