Lowa Kalan is a village near Bahadurgarh in Jhajjar district in Haryana.

Ram Sarup Joon[3] writes about The Mann Chiefs Of Mughul Chak: Chaudhary Ladha Mann of this dynasty, came from Sidipur Lowa in Rohtak district and settled down in Gujaranwala. He founded a small village named Maina. Thereafter, he became the Chaudhary of 22 villages. Sardar Mahatab Singh of this dynasty occupied 82 villages due to the weakness of the Mughal Emperor. He was a member of the Bhangi Misal.


Jharoda Kalan gets name after young lady named Jhado of Lowa Kalan.

Dalip Singh Ahlawat writes - मान हिन्दू जाटों के हरयाणा में गांव ये हैं - जिला हिसार में मुण्ढाल, जिला करनाल में बला, घोगड़ीपुर, जिला रोहतक में इशरहेड़ी, लोवा कलां जो कि कालू मान ने बसाया।

जाट इतिहास पृ० 74 पर ले० रामसरूप जून ने लिखा है कि “मुगल चक (जि० गुजरांवाला) जागीर की स्थापना करने वाला लधा मान जि० रोहतक के लोवा कलां गांव से वहां गया था। लोवा कलां गांव में उसके नाम से लधा पट्टी तथा लधा जोहड़ अब भी कहलाते हैं।”[4]
