Jats in CWG 2018
  1. Amit Panghal - Amit won a silver in the Light Flyweight (49 kg) category at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.
  2. Anish Bhanwala - Anish,15, became the youngest Indian gold medalist at the 2018 Commonwealth Games when he won the men’s 25m rapid fire pistol event.
  3. Babita Phaugat - won silver medal at Commonwealth Games 2018
  4. Bajrang Punia - won the gold medal in the men's freestyle 65 kg category.
  5. Deepak Lather - He won the bronze medal in the men's 69 kg weight class at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast.

  1. Anshu Malik bags silver medal for India in Women’s Freestyle 57 kg wrestling in Birmingham Commonwealth Games 2022.
  2. Bajrang Punia won the gold medal in the men’s 65kg freestyle wrestling category at Birmingham Commonwealth Games 2022.
  3. Deepak Nehra defeated Pakistan's Tayab Raza 10-2 to win the 97kg freestyle wrestling.
  4. Deepak Punia beats Pakistan’s Muhammad Inam to win gold. He won the gold medal in the men’s 86kg freestyle wrestling category at Birmingham 2022.
  5. Mohit Grewal won a bronze medal in the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games.
  6. Naveen Malik secured gold after beating Pakistan's Muhammad Sharif Tahir via technical superiority in men's 74kg final.
  7. Pooja Gehlot defeated Scotland's Christelle Lemofack Letchidjio in women's 50kg freestyle.
  8. Pooja Sihag won her 76kg bout against Australia's Naomi de Bruine.
  9. Ravi Dahiya produced a commanding display against Nigeria's Ebikewenimo Welson and secured a 10-0 win in the men's 57kg final.
  10. Rohit Tokas settled for bronze in boxing after losing semifinal match. Rohit lost 2-3 in the 67kg category.
  11. Sakshi Malik defeated Ana Godinez Gonzales of Canada to win gold in the women's 62kg freestyle wrestling final at the Commonwealth Games 2022.
  12. Vinesh Phogat defeated Sri Lanka wrestler for a gold in women's 53kg freestyle event.

India competed at the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta and Palembang, Indonesia, from 18th August to 2nd September. India won all 69 Medals out of which 15 Gold, 24 Silver and 30 Bronze Medals ! Jats won a major chunk of these Medals as shown below:

  • Shubham Jaglan - Amateur Golf (Winner of two Junior World Golf Championships 2015; World Record Holder; won 100 Domestic and International Championships; 10 yr old; Born - Village Israna, Panipat, Haryana; Belongs to Family of Wrestlers; Introduced to golf by an NRI Mṛ Kapur Singh who started a Golf Academy in his village Israna; The Academy was soon shut down; So he practised in family open field in village which was converted by his father into a green with three Holes; Initial Training was self taught by YouTube videos; He was spotted by Nonita Lall Qureshi of Delhi Golf Foundation and financed by the Foundation to shift to Delhi; Father left Dairy Business to stay full time with son; Currently trained by Nonita Lall Qureshi and Mṛ Amit Luthra of Delhi Golf Foundation; At present living in Delhi and Studying at Laxman Public School; )

Subey Singh, was one of the first IAS Officers from Haryana; After the death of his father Kanwal Krishan Singh Dalal, he was brought up and inspired by his mother Roopa Singh; Presently studying at University of Virginia, USA; Asian Junior Champion, 2005; World No. 4 among Juniors; Bronze in Team Event at Asian Games 2010, Guanghong, China; Gold in Men's Doubles with Somdev Devvarman at Asian Games 2010, Guanghong, China)

Mountaineeering

  • Anita Kundu - Mountaineer; Climbed Mount Everest two times; climbed from both the sides - the Nepal side and the China side; First Indian woman to climb Mount Everest from the China side; Sub Inspector from Hissar, Haryana; 29 yrs; climbed from Nepal side in May,2013 and from the China side on 21-5-2017; She made an attempt to climb from the China side in 2015 but the attempt was aborted due to bad weather and she had to return back midway; She started climbing from the China side in second attempt on April 11,2017 and lost contact on April 26, 2017 but finally after 41 days she unfurled Indian tricolour on Mt. Everest on Sunday, 21-5-2017
  • Asha Jhanjharia - Mountaineer; Climbed Mount Everest from the Nepal side at 4:05 on Monday, 22-5-2016; 38 yrs; Resident of Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan and a Nurse at a Public Health Centre, Alwar, Rajasthan; Mother of two teenagers; Husband Ajay Singh Takhar works in Rajasthan Police; A few years ago she could barely walk due to slipped vertebral disc and had to undergo surgery; Then in 2015 she completed a journey to Amarnath cave by the route through Baltal in a very short time and encouraged by army officials for finishing the journey fast she decided to climb Mt. Everest; Due to financial difficulties she tried for help from government and other agencies for sponsorship for a mountaineering course but was only assured help and not given; Finally she borrowed money from relatives and withdrew all her PPF savings to complete the course in record time;
  • Kapil Ruhil – Mountaineer; Climbed Mount Everest at 9:45 AM on 19 May, 2012 from the Nepal side; During the expedition one member of the group of seven returned midway and the other a German died on way; Very exhausted and despite adverse conditions and very little food he climbed Mt. Everest successfully; He spent Rs 23 lakhs in the expedition with in the hope that government and other sponsors will help him; Village Raichadwala, Jind istt., Haryana; Constable in Haryana Police, Kabaddi player (Played at National level); Had a childhood dream of climbing Mt. Everest; After taking a mountaineering course, he first climbed a 16,500 ft peak in Himachal Pradesh and then climbed the 18,300 ft Kuber peak in Uttarakhand;
  • Tashi and Nungshi Malik (Twin Sisters) - Mountaineers; Born 21-6-1991; First siblings and twins to climb the Seven Summits and reach the North and South Poles and complete the Adventurers Grand Slam and Three Poles Challenge.

  • Manu Bhakar is winner of Gold Medal in the shooting world cup. She hails from Goria village in Jhajjar tahsil and district in Haryana. She won gold in the 10 metre air pistol category. She had won Silver in Asian Shooting too. She also participated in Tokyo Olympics (July-Aug. 2021) but could not win a medal.
  • Palak Gulia (पलक गुलिया) - She won Gold Medal in pistol shooting at the Asian Games, Hangzhou, China in 2023.
